Nearby attractions
The Martinsell Centre is located close to the historic town of Marlborough in the ancient Vale of the White Horse.
Savernake Forest, the beautiful West Woods and the Kennet and Avon Canal, as well as the enigmatic Avebury stones, Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow are all nearby.
Stonehenge and the mediaeval cathedral city of Salisbury are just a short drive away.
The area is also a centre for crop circle research, with many fine examples mysteriously appearing nearby each summer.

We recently held a successful pilot workshop at The Martinsell Centre. Our participants commented that the sense of beauty, security and calm, accompanied by cozy individual apartments and simply marvellous home cooking made our event uniquely memorable.
