Hopi Ear Candle treatments
Hopi ear candles are made from natural ingredients including beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St. John’s wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax.
They work on a chimney principle, creating a slight pressure and vibration in the air column of the ear. This draws any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed.
Secretion flow is gently stimulated and the vapour collects and draws impurities or deposits to the entrance of the ear and inside the candle. The process equalises the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions.
Hopi ear candles have been shown to be a positive treatment for many ailments including:
- sinusitis
- tinnitus
- headaches
- migraines
- compacted wax
- sinus irritation
What happens in a treatment?
The treatment is delivered with the client lying comfortably on their side.
The therapist gently inserts the candle into the entrance of the ear and the candle is lit.
The client will hear a gentle, relaxing sound as the candle burns: it is totally safe and controlled.
The therapist delivers a relaxing head massage during the 30 minute treatment.
